Functions of the MANAVIYATHE trust include

Protecting the orphans and registering them with the District Collector

Protect the departed and bring them to the ashram.

Providing free dining and housing for the needy.

Conducting vocational training programs for the residents of the ashram.

Protect orphans of all kinds (children, women, men, elderly, beggars, orphans, destitute) in Kodagu and provide temporary accommodation to them.

Working closely with rescued caregivers to send them back home if they have family or relatives.

Resettlement of mentally retarded persons and mentally retarded persons in various districts of Bengaluru, Mysore etc. with the cooperation of Government Disabled & Senior Citizens Welfare Department, Women & Child Development Department, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department, Police Department, Health Department.

Protecting the mentally retarded under the program of making the Kodagu district a free district for the mentally ill.

Organizing Orchestral programs by the blind specialist.

Institutional A’s child labour or destitute children, along with residents attending the asylum within the age of 5 years, should be brought before the Welfare Committee of the Child and put into the government’s children’s parlours
